Cumbria Medical Services provide NHS specialist services in Community Dermatology, Minor Surgery and Ophthalmology. We are a GPwER (GP with Extended Role) service and work from various locations throughout Cumbria utilising the excellent facilities of our community hospitals and GP surgeries.

This is a NHS service only and commissioned by NHS North East & North Cumbria Integrated Care Board (ICB)

Patient consideration

Dear Patient, We receive hundreds of phone calls a week to our administration team in relation to prescriptions, medication, aftercare queries, new referrals and appointment queries. Unfortunately we can only deal with issues/queries you have been referred for & treated by CMS. For any other matters please see your GP or contact 111.
