A career in medicine, for over 40 years, underpins my dermatological experience. A consultant dermatologist for 33 years: my strengths are diagnostic as well as therapeutic. A very extensive skin knowledge gives me rapid and comprehensive decision-making ability, which is good for patients, with a wide variety of dermatological problems.
With interests in skin cancer, amongst many of a dermatological nature, I can offer accurate and effective treatment plans covering any aspect of skin disease. Furthermore, a medical lifetime spent in delivering hospital care has focussed my skills in order to now deliver effective, efficient, primary care-led delivery of dermatology, for patients.
Well qualified, with not only medical degrees but also humanity qualifications, I endeavour always to prescribe a holistic approach to skin care as well as simultaneously delivering dermatological education for both patients and referring doctors alike.
Practicing as I preach, I try to maintain a healthy life-work balance. I have a variety of interests ranging from running, cycling, sailing and ski-ing to architecture, literature, art and music.
