My previous hernia operationwas done at Carlisle under a general anaesthetic. It took all day and recovery was longer. I found the procedure at Maryport far superior, in and out in just over 2 hours - FANTASTIC!!

It is really fantastic to have a facility to carry out these procedures in Maryport. I have had a very positive experience of health care that has already made a vast reduction in my discomfort and pain. Thank you to all the team.

I am very happy with the procedure and it has definitely aided dexterity in my hand. I only wish I had gone for the procedure earlier!
