Jen hails from Lancashire and did her Medical Degree in Glasgow graduating in 1991 which resulted in her love of Scotland. She spent a year abroad working in Australia and completed her GP training in Lanarkshire.
Jen did locums for a few years in the North West and was a GP partner near Preston for 9 years. She has been working in dermatology since 1999, as a clinical assistant and then as a GPSI since 2002 and decided to fully embrace this role in 2009, leaving her practice.
She did the Cardiff Diploma in 1995 and was one of very few to gain a Distinction in this.
She is married and lives near Preston to be close to her family and is also a local GP
She loves to travel and is a bit of a thrill seeker having jumped out of a plane twice.
She is delighted and honoured to be working with the highly organised Cumbria Medical Services and the friendly, warm, professional dedicated team that work in it.
