Dr Martin has been a full time GP and partner at James Cochrane Practice, Kendal, since 2001. She qualified with the Diploma in Practical Dermatology, Cardiff University in 2005, gained NHS Cumbria accreditation as a GP with Special Interest (GPwSI) in Dermatology in 2010 and Northern Deanery accreditation in 2012.
Maria worked as a GPwSI for 4 years in the hospital dermatology service in Kendal and started South Lakes Dermatology Service in October 2012. She has a particular interest in dermoscopy, common skin problems and genital skin disorders.
